I listened to this album at the gym with my Sony WH100XM4's. Sounded like the beats were too low and the album wasn't mixed very well. Cool vibe, though.

Cardo has never been great about getting his projects properly mixed which is a shame.

Cardo has never been great about getting his projects properly mixed which is a shame.
I'm ignorant of his process, but why not just send the beat stems for each track to whomever is mixing the song? It's a pain and time-consuming, but it's worth it in the long run. This project sounds like a Dat Piff mixtape at times in terms of audio quality.

This was a good album, but was it a good Larry June album… I don’t think so, and I only say that cause I have really high expectations for a June tape. There Is some fire on here though, but some of the songs just didn’t do it for me. “Black Man” is a top tier single so maybe that made me expect too much.

I’ll also admit I am bias the stuff he’s done with alchemist is just pure piff so it might be affecting my appreciation for the tape.
