All though modern B Boying incorporates a lot of pop locking moves,pop locking has more of a cultural title alone especially since it predates breaking/b boying.
Look at the video it even tells you that tickin, hitting, locking and POPPING are all incorporated into the poplocking/bungalow dance techniques. Even now a days like Juking in Memphis and Giggin in the Bay are way more revered and are basically local versions of pop locking
Booglaloo is known in the bay but it originated in the chi but it blew up in the bay..Oakland to be exact
