I've been to Vegas 4 times now, i love that place. I think some people get intimidated to go because there is pressure to go all out because it's Vegas. The best thing about it is that you can make your trip however you want it. You can do just about anything there and have a good time. I'm trying to head back early next year, but stay downtown for a short drinking/gambling trip with my brother and cousins.

Have you been there?

Went there once back in 2008....fukking loved it. The perfect amount of decadence and utter trashiness.

I've been there once. 2004. I went with my wife. I'm not a big gambler. We ate out at a restaurant. Went to see a comedy show. Walked through some casino gaming floors. We went to the Stratosphere and there's a ride on top that launches you vertically. It's nuts, but worth it.
It isn't a place for children. They had all these people on the sidewalks advertising strip clubs or something. They were baseball card sized cards with some topless woman and business name and address on the other side. These card-handing out people are everyone on the strip. The dudes handing out these cards looked like Mexicans who were getting paid under to the table to hand these cards out.
Anyway, that was that.
