TLOU 2 is my favorite or second favorite game of all time(Witcher 3 is the other contender)

I promised myself I wouldn't nitpick anything, only because the tv format necessitates certain changes

The final 15 minutes is one of my favorite sequences in the show period. Wild that during that exact period Abby is facing off against the Rat King

rat king happens beforehand, abby left the hospital well before ellie gets there

Listening to the official podcast, Mazin basically confirms Rat King for next season. He says the audience knows what's happening in B1 and B2 of the Hospital but "nobody knows what's going on B3...just leaving that out there".

I was kinda expecting them to skip the Rat King because I have no fukking clue how they can adapt that without looking fukking ridiculous on TV

The show is good but hopefully now people stop disrespecting the game’s writing. Also you can see them trying to tidy up some of the decisions they made from last season. Gotta be a point to bringing spores in now.

Like I said before I'm cool with giving them some leeway with changes from the game and willing to be patient to see where they are taking things but so far not loving this season. I read somebody's comment saying it feels like they are rushing things while it also seems like nothing is happening. The story beats are happening too fast to the point that it feels like nothing holds emotional weight.

Interesting how the TV crowd is growing tired of Ellie. I do think the TV show has done a poor job at portraying her as anything other than a lost teenager doing shyt she's not prepared for, and it's harder to get behind that kind of character compared to the demonic revenge machine we were playing as.
