Stuff like this always hits me kind of hard. If you have a lot of women in your family, especially daughters of drinking age, you understand. And I just wanted to post these to remind everyone to just please be careful when out drinking, and with who you are out drinking with. Both of these alcohol related deaths are sketchy. And although it’s women, it happens to men as well. Be careful brehs.

This young lady was found dead in the snow under suspicious circumstances last weekend.

The preliminary autopsy findings state that she froze to death and that she had alcohol in her system. The Concord Police released this statement yesterday.

But many people suspect that her drink may have been spiked and that her friend(below), who was the last person seen with her and who has since gone into hiding, had something to do with it.

:wow:

Then there was the Kansas elementary school teacher who wandered off from a bar, strangely leaving behind her keys, wallet, and cell phone. Her drinks were probably spiked as well.

Emporia elementary teacher found deceased after disappearance

EMPORIA, Kan. (WIBW) -The Emporia Police Department has located a deceased female just yards away from the area where Rebecca Rauber was last seen before she went missing.

Authorities say during their investigation on Sunday, an additional video showed Rauber in the 700 block of West 4th Ave. around 11:44 p.m. on Friday.

Rauber was found about 300 yards south of West 4th Avenue, where she was last seen on video. Rauber was found in a wooded area.

Officials say at this time, it appears that Rauber may have succumbed to hypothermia early on in her disappearance. She was found covered in snow due to the snowstorm that became heavy on Saturday, Jan. 24.

EPD detectives are currently processing the scene, and the investigation is still continuing.

“Next of Kin has been notified. We want to thank our community for the outpouring of care and assistance during this situation. We also want to thank KHP, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Search and Rescue of Kansas, and the Lyon County Communications Center for their efforts in trying to locate Rebecca. All of the agencies listed poured many hours of manpower, involving many resources, in the hope of a positive outcome. Our hearts and prayers are truly with the Rauber family.”

I’m not asking people to rush in here playing detective and go off the Coli-deep-end with all types of speculation, just please take these tragedies as simple reminders to you and your loved ones to just be extra vigilant about going out drinking, and about who you go out drinking WITH.

RIP to both these young women.
