good point. i think NBC did it with HULU with regard to tv content, and i dont know how succesful that was, but these companies could have just started their own shyt, 3 big music companies, 3 big streaming sites.
Or just one streaming site where they collaborated like VEVO.
HULU is doing aight I guess, a billion dollars in revenue like Spotify. From my impression it's completely ad-based though and most people who have HULU also have those channels on their tv.

It might've been the conflict of interest. They could've just outsourced the service and had it as an independent company that's owned by the labels, like the FED.

EDIT, I see now that HULU has a premium service as well with HD content and stuff.

This is one of those topics where you see the ignorance and bias of people come out

There's a HUGE market for sound quality centered products and the people who are into sq spend hella money on high fidelity sound related products. It's the online cdq streaming service that has that big of a library that I've heard of. And finding shyt in CDQ quality without paying for it is a pain in the ass

People who listen to music with dollar store head phones, have factory stereos in their car, and use sound bars for home stereo systems don't care but then again those peoples opinions on music don't really matter because you can't call yourself a music head and listen to shyt quality music

Jays mistake in my opinion was attaching himself and other superstars to it like people really cared about making artists more money.

If anyone can do it, it would be apple. They at least have a strong foundation(itunes) to start from. But I just dont see the appeal of streaming music. And paying to do so. Maybe Im wrong, I woulda never thought facebook would amount to anything either. Sh1t is just Myspace redone imo :mjpls:

I hold twitter in high regard and they're nowhere near as profitable as facebook, so what do I know :ehh:

Ill pay for XM, they have shows, tons of channels, and it works everywhere. I tried paying for Google Music just to try it out and wasn't impressed. I don't get it either. Partially because i dont want to constantly stream on my phone and I don't always have an Internet connection depending where I am at or what I am doing.

However I don't get a lot of things that people buy en masse tho.

Only in Hip Hop and on The Coli do people pretend to have bottle service at the club on the weekends, fukk only dimes, and drive the nicest of whips.....

But then get all bent out of shape for 9.99 a month or purchasing a rappers album on some 'THEY ARE CHARGING TOO MUCH'

Like muhfukka said, its ONE god damn mixed drink. Why do Coli ballers always balk at spending 10 bucks?

Lol Fax

And what's with these dummies and "it's free" shyt. Ain't shyt free. You're stealing it.
