They spend the first 30 minute dragging out telling you WTF is going on when there's no reason at all to make it a secret, then they tag on some bullshyt Lifetime movie of the week daddy issues drama, then the next 30 minutes fukk up physics so bad it would make a science teacher slap his momma...:snoop:

And the payoff is a Disney happy ending that doesn't make a damned bit of sense :mjlol:

fukk all yall who told me I needed to see this bullshyt

They could've developed it more in terms of what happened to the other folks that jumped to the other planets. Would've made for a more epic story.

Interstellar finally convinced me that I'm just not a fan of Nolan. He makes some good films, but even his good films I'm not in love with like I should be based on the premise of the film. I'm glad he's a filmmaker though because his genuinely good ideas making bank help lead to other original films (like, do we get Arrival if not for Interstellar?) but I finally gave up on trying to love his films like his fans do.

He had a spark when he started now he's just garbage.
I love Memento, The Prestige and TDK
I like but don't love Insomnia, BB, TDKR and Inception
Interstellar is his only certified dud to me but Dunkirk does not look promising either.

As much as I really enjoyed Interstellar (going as far as to say it is my favorite film of 2014), it has some flaws to it. Some of the exposition isn't needed, the first act drags a bit, and it annoys me that Cooper didn't bother visiting his son after waking up on Cooper Station. Other than that, I thought it was a really enjoyable, emotional and well done film.

And btw, did any of you check out Following? That movie is a gem.

it was heavily implied that cooper's son stayed on earth, in the novelization he dies decades before cooper appears in cooper station.

and yeah, interstellar is an incredible film. it is quite possibly Hans Zimmer's greatest work. The composition is incredible. People seem to let minor flaws overshadow an incredible film overall. If this movie bored you then the film wasn't made for you, you ADHD having motherfukkers go see these hardcore scifi films and then complain about being bored. Go fukking see a michael bay film or some shyt instead please.
