Yo if you pay attention (I can't front I had to watch this like three times to catch it)
the concept with the girl in the video, what she represents and the story throughout is actually dope as hell
the beat is also nice Kwame always was a nice producer

Unfortunately Kwame has always been the most basic average emcee ever none of the rapping on this is worth talking about or Biggie responding 2

All this song did was prove biggie was right about him being played out even a nice beat/concept can't save him

That track is a complete departure from his OG style. Stylistically, it was the same. Also, when did Kwame dis people?

VISUALLY? This is a horror movie compared to those bright, crazy videos he used to make.

There is nothing about this song that is "hardcore"... the hook is "it's like butter baby, it's like sugar honey"... what hardcore shyt you know sounded like that? :russ: Just cause it didn't look/sound like "Ownlee Eue" it was a "departure"? Yeah man, that's cause it wasn't 1990 anymore...

Y'all think anything that doesn't consist of dancing and new jack beats in the '90s was "hardcore".
