most countries have strong national pride which CAN diminish racial prejudices.

i.e. we are colombian, not just youre black and im white etc. it happens obviously but its not the same as in the US. in fact im confident saying the indigenous population is treated worse than black colombians.

that doesnt exist in the US. lots of people in the US dont feel patriotic or affinity to the US compared to other countries.

people in the US are very much every man for themselves MORE so than in latin america. in colombia theres def more community, cultural ties, shared history and traditions that alleviate racism, IMO. i mean the majority of Colombians are a mixed race people made up of indigenous and europeans.

But I have been to Mexico. I went to Oaxaca. Spent time in Oaxaca City and Pinotepa many times and I helped them rebuild in Pinotepa after the earthquake in 2018. One of the biggest black communities in Mexico. Lovely, humble people. They themselves even talked about how other Mexicans treat Black Mexicans like shyt. I only saw other Black Mexicans and Black Americans help the community down there.
