If you got time to waste and utility charges to waste then yeah use your home laundry machine lol

The average home washing machine takes long as hell to wash/dry. And you gotta divide up loads because it's not enough so it's taking twice as long

A normal washing machine takes like 1 hour and a half, with drying taking 60 minutes, and sometimes an extra 20 min cause it's not dry enough

You at the Laundromat, and you in and out in an hour. shyt is glorious . Never going back

My washer weighs the load and adjusts the time based on that.

Driving and buying quarters to wash clothes in a dirty public laundromat seems like a waste of time.

My washer and dryer (LG) are on the second floor and makes my life so much easier

If they're NICE yeah. The one right next to me has flatscreens, arcades and vending machines, a massage chair, a kids section with kids tv and books/toys. I think they even give out a free glass of wine on certain days, at least they used to.

Laundromat I usually do a $2 machine $1 dryer on high heat it's not so bad...

But still id rather do it at home for FREE instead of paying $3...

There is merit in both options. Not with the laundromat but my condo has a ton of units downstairs for residents next to the gym. I would use the one in the apt with small loads but my blankets and days when I need multiple loads done, I’d go downstairs.
