The coach at Chino Hills was HAND PICKED BY LAVAR BALL. Not the school, but the dad. Lavar also "taught" that dude everything he knows about basketball. Lavar WOULD HAVE BEEN THE COACH IF HE WANTED THE JOB

So they school took Lavar's word (it was a condition for his sons to attend) then after he got the job, he tried to run the team differently than what the school wanted. The school wanted Lavar and wanted him happy. Coach tried to do his own thing, rubbed pops the wrong way. THE SCHOOL AGREED.

Now if you saying because he's black he can't be fired? I'd fire him because of the way LaMelo don't play no D

Yeah, Lavar has claimed he's the one that got him the job and Lavar's wife is the one that made his resume to get the job.
Lavar seems like one of those types that will do you a favor and feel like they own you, probably way too much embarrassment to try to wait out the 1 last Ball brother to graduate.

The coach is probably happy to get away from all the bullshyt. Hopefully dude can land on its feet and be successful . This is the very reason why I would never contemplate being a coach, the parents can be more difficult than the kids

Yeah my lil Cousin was getting into basketball(was a Kobe fan) and made the team in middle school but ended up quitting and giving it up cuz his pops was down too much and made him not enjoy the game anymore. His coach would call a play and his pops would tell him to disregard and get the position he wanted him in, play defense the way he wanted him,,,his pops even would show up to practice so he can work on stuff he wanted his son too. He would pull him from exercises with the coaches and assistant coaches and have him doing other routines.


It's sad cuz he was really putting in time and work on his game and then just stopped all together. Dude 20 now and 6'5 and still growing

When I was in high school (football) our coach damn near fought one of the player's father during practice Funny thing was many of the players actually had the father's back in the argument. His son should have been our starting QB but our coach was trying to groom someone else who was younger smh.
