I started on the 2000, when I was like 14-15 years old.

It was a lot easier to finish beats and not be distracted on the older MPC's. There's just way too much sh*t going on with the new ones. I still work on the MPC Studio on the road, and the MPC Live II at home, but a lot of these models are just doing way too much. I still feel like you don’t need all that bullsh*t on an MPC. It's OD.

I have no idea how to use anything on 3.0 or above. I went back to 2.15. I guess I'm goanna have to learn with this new XL. Yeah it's way to much and the more they put, the more people continue to want.

I have yet to update to the new software on the mpc one and I doubt i ever will

Honestly, I'm more and more comfortable with holding on to my original MPC Live and squeezing all the juice out of it like Alc does with the 2500

I spoke with my mans today in code. He called me cuz he always calls me on the job when something drops or about to drop. So I basically tell him, "I'm gonna be good in a week or so, if you know what I mean. I know you can't discuss it". So then he says, "well, I'm gonna hit you up in a few days to talk about nothing..". The whole conversation was like this cuz I knew why he was calling . Cuz you know they recording those calls.

I have the MPC One and it’s enough for me.

Also have a 2000XL but I prefer the One.
