I started lesson 1 less than 2 weeks ago going in with 0% knowledge/experience (*just flash cards with the Arabic alphabet written on them*)

I am now able to read/sound out the Arabic text of my Quran very slowly and methodically.

The lessons also give you common phrases to give you a good starting foundation and will definitely make you want to advance your knowledge once you've completed lesson 1.
