was just listening to ranting about LBJ shouldnt leave the Cavs

I just want to say that I am sure LBJ is thinking of rings and best fit, but I truly believe his non-commitment has more to do with off-court than on.

I dont think he wants to leave Cleveland. I think he wants to be guaranteed to be a permanent fixture there before he commits.

I truly believe that Lebron wants Gilbert to sell him part of the team. Wherever he goes, I think he wants part ownership. If he goes to Lakers, I think he wants a piece of the team. I am not saying he is done ring-chasing, but that he is looking ahead to his future after bball.

also, a player isnt forbidden to be a stockholder of a parent company. Like MSG company owns the Knicks...he could buy into that group for instance. With Cavs, that may be different since Gilbert's ownerships are separate entities?

Wade is taking him back to Miami

my question isnt about where he will play but is his interest bigger than on the court. not sure if you were serious or not but I dont think he will team with Riley again. but hypothetically if he went to Miami....what would be in it for him besides title contention? I just dont think he is going to play for someone just for the sake of getting a ring now. I think he is looking at a bigger picture.

I agree. Thats why he will stay in Cleveland or Philly.
He's not going to the West. The bloodbath just to be a top 3 seed is too much. In the East, he can chill for 6 months and get to the FInals every year.

Most likely, I feel like Lebron + Nike will buy out Dan Gilbert in Cleveland or some other team. Gilbert firing the GM this summer and not flipping the Nets pick shows he is OK this time with Lebron leaving.
