They were both explosive at the beginning of their career.

None of that matters. You produce less test and cells break down as you age. You think a 39 year old could be stronger and faster than most 23 years old athletes naturally ? :skip:
Considering how much faster than other 23 year olds LeBron was at 23, yes. You're forgetting what LeBron was 15 years ago.

Stronger yes but not faster which makes a better case for Bron because this is where he’s at now.:yeshrug:

The subject of PEDs is something we glaze over like we not really to find out if it's true or not and the sport is just entertainment.

The money at stake here in the NBA makes it more than likely if someone could figure out how to get physical advantages they would. I've even been wondering if at the high school level now kids are being given stuff to make them grow taller or athletic. The amount of kids who getting heart issues all of a sudden..

So taking the names out. What are the side effects or things that can make you say this man might be on something, hair loss? Jaw? Heart issues?

The problem is most people think PEDs start and ends with Roids. Which really isn't the case. It's just a lazy generalisation as is like Athlete A has never failed a piss test he must be clean.

Special shakes/drink cocktails concocted by doctors/trainers is an old school classic. Many athletes didn't even know they were doping. Some knew/guessed but turned a blind eye/didnt say thing. Most likely Amphetamines which was used in WWII to keep the soldiers alert and fighting. Then once the War was over and they had all these leftovers guess where they ended up in the sports world.

Take something like EPO. That has a very short half life and is out of your system within 24-72 hours depending on dosage. (Some Steroids can last in your system up to 18 months) As per Lance Armstrong he never failed a in-competition piss test because the dosage he was taking had a 4.5 hour half life. So by the time he would cross the finish line it would of left his system.

And let's not forget that Nike were basically sponsoring a doping programme in the Oregon Project.

You got high school kids on TIK TOK posting videos about taking PEDs. These dudes aren't even athletes at times...just kids wanting to get big in the gym.

If we had a chance to bet on Lebron being 100% natural his entire career and the prize was 1 million....no one in this thread is betting on him being 100% drug free.

NBA would never let his drug use get exposed tho.

I find it odd how every time people bring up PED throughout NBA history they always mention Bron but skip over the guys from the 90's/2000's when PED usage was at it's peak...There are players who've had incredible body transformations/a high volume of muscle who never get called out for PED usage, why not?

Lebron looks more natural than any of the above players...Shyt, Jordan had bigger biceps than Lebron.

I honestly have no problem with athletes taking PEDs' for recovery, as long as the PED doesn't give them excessive muscle, or superhuman strength/eyesight.

Everyone is on the juice. People think it’s to get bigger and stronger. No, they’re on the juice for recovery. These guys aren’t tired enough in their 30s for the amount of games they play.

I cannot remember the sport i was a watching. But the winner was being followed by the camera. They hadn't even looked like they had just done full maximum effort like 30 secs earlier. Looked more like they had just did a warm down and the other competitors were laying on the ground coughing up lungs looking on verge of a heart attack.
