Most of the points were on Smush Parker and his matador defense. Kobe didn't start guarding him until overtime. And hypothetically speaking even if Gilbert did score 60 on Kobe it's far less embarrassing than Lebron getting locked up by Boris Diaw in the Finals :russ: and being outscored by Jason Terry in 2011 :russ:

Bron defense is more overrated than him shooting 57% , cause we all know why he shoots an high percentage, they act like fastbreak dunks and layups does't factor into that shyt...but yes Brons gets beat of the dribble on a regular

You watch that game? As I'm watching these highlights, Kobe wasn't even guarding him for the first 30 points he scored, Rick Fox and Kareem Rush were. After Kobe started guarding him in the third quarter he ended up scoring 23. What's the big deal? :pachaha: Nice try.

That's because everyone knew Kobe couldn't guard him. Gilbert set a fukking overtime scoring record once he had Kobe's matador defense on him.

Please :pachaha: the next time Kobe and Gilbert played that same season Kobe's defense held Gilbert's chucking ass to 9-29 from the field and 3-15 from the three point line. Kobe made it his mission to defend him the whole game, not like the game before. The lakers won that game btw. In his prime Kobe could LOCK UP anybody and you know it. And here's a little food for thought, Kobe's stats that night were 14-26 from the field and 2-5 from three and six assists.

So he held Arenas to 37 pts? How impressive.
