Nope, there was no real expectations in 2019. Missing the playoffs was bad but we werent title contenders regardless. We're supposed to be a title team this year and bron constructed this squad. Tuff so far

Yeah, but it’s still November. So I guess we can’t really speak on this until the season ends.

And I was talking about Bron’s toughest season, not if it was a tough year for the Lakers. That year featured his first major injury, first time missing the playoffs since his second year, and first time missing the finals in damn near a decade.

This year has started poorly but we’ve seen that from Bron teams before that went on to the Finals (11, 15, 18). Whenever there’s an overhaul to his roster or an outright new team, they struggle to start the year. You’d be a fool to expect this team to still be hovering around 500 in March.

The thing that helps us and hurts us is every team after the Jazz are hovering around .500 as well. We can either leap them or continue to struggle right along with them.
