I don't think these elaborate recruiting pitches have ever worked on any free agent.
Didn’t the Lakers have one for Aldridge and it backfired because they were talking about movies and stuff instead of basketball.

He was never leaving Cleveland.. .

He stays one more year.

Cavs have over 70 mill in contracts that expire in 2020. They'll use some of that + draft picks in a trade to get a star at the deadline (Kawhii?)...

Cavs rookies (Sexton, Preston) develop

Cavs compete for a championship in 2019 and on..

LeBron retires a Cav

This is what will happen

Boston doesn't want anything to do with Bron. And I'm sure Kyrie would jump ship if that were to happen.

Players have their mind made up before..the only reason to go to these meetings is to reassure everything and just enjoy the asskissing/free food. No one is making a life decision off a 2 hour meeting

He probably doesn't wanna stay in Cleveland but it makes the most sense.

No pressure to win

You're still in the East

You have a strong MVP case carrying this team next year. I think the voters will sympathize with him if he at least gets a 3 seed next year

He can always just leave next year after seeing where the pieces fall.

So now yall believe ESPN reports?
It’s not that hard to believe. He’s already been wined and dined for the first decision. At his age he’d rather spend more time with the fam then have to sit through some power point presentation. He’s on some don’t call me, I’ll call you type of shyt and I don’t blame him.

What does he gain by staying in Cleavland?
If even for one more year?

I thought he hated Gilbert, another year of dysfunction and frustration? another Finals L?
