the thing is, lebron can score 40 and the heat will still lose
for a couple of reasons
1. this is what greg pop wants in the first place. they understand that what hurts you is when mike miller, chalmers, allen, battier, cole is out there raining 3's. what hurts you is not lebron scoring. what hurts you is when lebron has 9+ assist.
2.if lebron is scoring and keeping his team in it, you would have to hope its enough to gain a substantial lead because the heat, mainly lebron executing down the stretch is still a bit shakey and the spurs just flat out execute better than miami down the stretch of games.
this is why i said to win this series, unless miami blows the spurs out 3 out of 4 of the next games, they will have to stand toe to toe with a very experienced team that executes better down the stretch. lebron will have to come through under those circumstances.
im not even saying he cant do it. and if he does do it, it will be another obstacle he would have over come for his legacy. but he will have to close and execute better than the spurs to win this series. all these blowouts i doubt will continue. i expect the games to get a ton closer from here on out.

if he don't play like half the player that won the mvp they need to take the award back. i'm a lebron fan, but he been playing real b1tchmade the past three games. sh1ts embarrassing. imo he's playing for more than a title now. it's about redemption at this point. i consider him a future great but if he keeps this up he can never be in the discussion for best ever. the greats never walked around shaking their head like they couldn't figure it out. if the shot wasn't falling they dominated on the boards or completely shut someone down on the other end. lebron playing like dead weight.
