LeBron leaving after this year is pretty much inevitable right?

The Cavs 2017 offseason has been absolutely abysmal. Whatever moves they have left to make, even if they were to happen, won't put them over the top (LOL @ the idea of Melo being the key to beating the Dubs.) No one can convince me he's going to stay on this dumpster fire of a roster when he's only got a solid 4-5 years left. :francis:

Breh have you SEEN all the stars that have left or been traded to the West these past few days??? Lebron could rest and not play for 40+ games this season and still sweep the playoffs to his 8th straight finals appearance. Those "Lebron is DEFINITELY going to the Lakers in 2018!!!!" rumors were BS to begin with; now with all the talent migration to the West this offseason there's no chance in hell he's going anywhere for at least the next 2 years.

On one hand I think he leaves, on the other hand there's no team in the West that is ready to compete with him.

He could join Houstton or Lakers, who look like they'll have an excellent combination of vet and youth talent. Lakers in 18 with a two deep of something like

Lonzo/Clarkson (potentially)
George Hill/Nwaba or Brewer
Bron/Ingram
PG/Randle
Lopez (I believe an expring contract, but maybe he'd take alot less to come back?)/Zubac

Those r my rough estimates without much knowledge of contracts or trades they're trying to make but that's a pretty competent roster and certainly an upgrade over the Cavs situation by 2018. This is also banking on just some marginal overall improvement by the young faces sans Lonzo, if everybody improves by a good bit, this whole thing could be flipped on its head

What moves can they make with their roster? Can their roster improve much more beyond what they did this past play-off season?

"Dumpster fire of a roster ":dead:. These dudes are still arguably better than 28 teams in the NBA.
nikkas want a team that is a virtual lock for the finals to blow it up:mjlol: Even though the warriors are better why not take your chances instead of going back to being irrelevant like the pre Bron years:dwillhuh:
