The voters won't out Dwight in because of that...they don't respect half azz play...and Rose being the MVP for a season might....alright nevamind yeah Rose just cause if you win an MVP it's automatic HoF
I wouldn't bat an eye if that nikka was omitted but he'll get in just off the stength of being one of the most talented big men in the modern era. Plus his career stats, Defensive Player of the Year, All-NBA and All-star selections will push him over the top.

I'm pretty sure there's far less decorated players in the Hall than Dwight. He has hall of fame talent and numbers but is the ultimate underachiever. :hhh:

Doubt it...it will only happen if he goes into broadcasting or being a tv analyst like mullin, reggie, c WEbb, tmac...its politics now...dwight never winning MVP will make it hArder

He's a four time defensive player of the year and was top 5 in the league for atleast 5 years if you don't think he's going to the hall you a damn fool I don't not know why you'll act like the basketball hall of fame is so hard to get in Mitch ritchmond got a spot mullin got a spot he'll joe johnsons gonna get in one day :dead: none of those players got shyt on prime Dwight

Underachiever? When should Dwight have won when he didn't? The best player he played with in Orlando was either a season of washed up Vince Carter, Rashard Lewis, or Hedo Turkoglu. He was coming off back surgery and a torn rotator cuff in Los Angeles not to mention injuries to Gasol, Nash, and Kobe before we get into how poorly structured that team was and how ill fitting for its coach they were. Houston? I hope you didn't expect a title from one of the rockets teams he played on. He's had plenty of holes in his game, but there was never a team he played on that should've won, and if we're being real, there hasn't been a team he played on that should've even made the finals.

True, I think he will get in too but it's years after he does once the media forgets about how underachieve he was...mullin and Mitch got help by being broadcasters and tv analyst making friends...

I'm not even asking for a title from Dwight. With his talents nikka shoulda been in the discussions for top 5 players in the world for a good minute. At least in the discussion for top 10, he's in none of that anymore. :ld:

He was in the conversation for a good while though (2008-2012/13 essentially). He was lethal in the pick and roll, was the games best rebounder, was as durable as can be until the back injury, and was the best defender in the world, hence the 4 DPOY awards. He was a great post defender, a great pick and roll defender, a great shot blocker, and a great help defender. Personally I think he should've been the MVP in 2011 if LeBron didn't get it due to his impact on both ends of the floor, especially on defense when you consider the magic had no other great defenders and were always a top ten defense. I don't think it's realistic to ask a center to hold up after major back surgery like he had. It's night and day the player he was before and after :yeshrug:. Would've been nice to see him age more gracefully, but a lot of centers fall off quickly unfortunately.
