She needed him more than he needed her if we're being honest. It sucks that it took 13 years for the beef to get squashed, but better late than never.
Was about to post the same- he’s not popping as much as he thought, Lee Daniels as a brand hasn’t been the same since the incident with Dame and Monique. Oprah has become vilified as a hypocrite so he no longer needs that push, and people are growing weary of seeing Octavia Spencer as the go- to in every damn movie. Mo’Nique has been holding her own without the machine and has a dedicated following along with her relatability - seems like the old Black Hollywood structure c00ning for the white gaze is getting a tremendous wake up call this year. THEY are not your friends- THEY may rock with you when you’re on top but you’ll need that grass roots support when you start to spiral.He needs her that’s why he’s apologizing.
