Alot to unpack here, and I'll be back shortly to add more, but open for any and all comments. He was one of my favorite players for years, and above anything else, the way that he (with Payton, of course) completely transformed the Saints from the NFL's version of the Clippers, to a champion at their peak, and many other years of championship contention, I think above all else that shines for him...

I know everyone won't feel the same, but I'll miss him. I'm 31 abd the last remaining players from my high school days that are still active are Brady, Brees, Fitzgerald, Ben, and Rivers (Rodgers was drafted my sophomore year but I dont count him, as he didn't start playing til I was 19)...

Truly the end of an era winding down, I'll miss dude!

Was never quite Brady Manning level (maybe Rodgers too but if Rodgers doesn't get in the Super Bowl this season the casuals will start to "turn" on him too)

He should be good with his legacy. He's got one ring at least. :yeshrug:

Give it a rest. Brees was never on Brady, Manning or Rodgers level. Ever.

But if Rodgers loses get ready cuz same nikkas you celebrating with on the downfall of Brees gonna be the same nikkas saying "Rodgers 1-4 in NFCCGs :mjlol:"
