You mean a very system QB on a loaded team.
i don't think big ben is a better QB, BUT that came to my mind immediately. big ben definitely the one next to him as far as #4/5
I got Phillip Rivers not far behind them too, but obviously he is missing the ring.
Yall saying this knowing damn well if the Bucs beat the Packers nikkas gonna shyt on Rodgers Sunday
Freaking Bron gets shytted on and he has 4 rings. Yall really don't grasp how fans are when it comes to these 'debates'. No one ever said nuanced discussion is required.
Brees is a top 20 QB, but the system carried him the last 5 or so yrs
Arm been doo doo for awhile
Shoot Big Ben has two rings and nikkas shyt on him still and people don't think a portion of fans won't shyt on Rodgers and start coming with hot takes on him if the Packers lose Sunday? Ha.
But I'm just posting "what if"isms. I expect Rodgers to do what Drew couldn't next Sunday.
so in basketball he is in a Dirk tier. a great player with an amazing playoff run. but never a threat to be a top 10 all time.
if brees came through and got to the SB this year it would've bumped him up to top 10-12 range.
I like this comparison the only thing I'll argue is many will have Brees top 10 all time on QB lists.
But he won't be on that Brady/Montana/Manning and soon Rodgers level.
Better physical tools. Throws a better ball. Played outdoors in the cold. Best QB at extending the play. Won 2 out of 3 Superbowls. No system needed. Hard to sack. Tough as nails. Don't look at numbers, he didn't have as many attempts as stat padding Brees did.
your boy just need 1 more ring to get to that next tier.
but you know brady ain't gonna allow it
I just dont get how some of yall judge QBs..
Marino had zero rings but id rank him higher then 90% of these QBs listed here.
Young was like a foundation of what Rodgers is yet no one gonna put him top 3 or 5.
Yall really do rely on Rings instead of your eyes to rank QBs....theres always context win it comes to wins and losses. And most the time it has fukk all to do with the QB
That's in every sport bruh.
I have Brady as the GOAT because of rings. You don't just luck your way into 14(?) championship games and 6 Super Bowl rings.
Rings matter. You need a lot of luck yes. But can't anyone tell me Brady is the only person who's been blessed enough to get lucky that many times. Dude is the GOAT and the rings solidify it.
like i said brady is in a whole new tier, but i get your point.
What brees needed was 1 more great run. too bad his arm got shot. all he needed was 1 more. i mean he didn't even have to win the ring. all he had to do is get there and just play well enough.
this is a great saints squad. yall too loyal to brees, but honestly he should've retired 4 years ago. yall wasted some great prime years of your nice skilled players.
2018 was the movie script for us but the "No Call" happened and I argued down how that no call will affect Brees and Payton's legacy. Non Saints fans don't care, and why should they-it's not their team, but that no call will forever cloud Payton and Brees.
the little big shot*
