Legal Question: In County or Out of County Lawyer

I just wanted to know in you guys opinion or personal experience which on if be better off with fighting my case. I live in the metro Atlanta area.

I’ve been told in county is better. Your lawyer might know the prosecutors, or judges.

I was looking into a guy where I’m at who was related to 2 of the 4 county judges. I ended up going with someone else and he knew the assistant district attorney, they went to law school together. He was able to cut a deal under the table.

Out of towners wont have those connections.

yeah i thought that was the point

a lot of these scumbags actually started out as prosecutors and then switch over to be lawyers, so they keep those connections
