The fact that it's open world takes out most of the problems I had with Skyward Sword. If this game plays the same as Xenoblade's open world I will be in heaven, lol. I just need these few things before I can be truly excited:
-no hand holding/ optional harder difficulty. Since OoT the franchise has had a bad habit of creating sidekick companions who tell you everything little, as well as early levels that are way too simple to the point of boredom. There are millions of Zelda fans who are older than 20+, I hope Nintendo acknowledges that.
-cut down on gimmicky controls. Skyward Swords controls were...ok, but they were incredibly gimmicky, especially outside of combat. Walking on ropes, swimming, solving puzzles all felt extremely awkward and forced. They'll most definitely throw in some gimmicky shyt with the Wii U pad, but I hope it's more natural than the motion controls.
-less predictable enemy/boss fights. This is such a long shot I don't expect this to happen at all. I wasn't too fond of Skyward Swords "slash here where enemy has conveniently created an open space." I'd like a bit more creativity, but I'm not holding my breath.
