Depends on what people consider a legend.

Is jadakiss, pusha, mase, etc legends?

He's bigger now than those guys were at their peaks and I think they'll be talked about long after they are gone in hip hop. If so, Cole's a legend. If you consider them just "vets", so be it.

stop it. stop devaluing words. not every damn body is a legend.

Bob Marley, MJ, BIG, Pac, etc. Those are legends. Your impact and influence on the genre and culture have to be undeniable for GENERATIONS after your career ends.

None of those 4 have a record on the level of a Doggystyle or Illmatic imo but they will be considered legends later for longevity reasons.

I mean coke been outside since 08/09. Not saying he’s a legends but there’s no arbitrary time length for it either.

He been outside but his impact didn’t start until his first album which was 2011. I feel like in a couple more years we may look at him in that way.

Disagree, the warm up had impact and made him highly anticipated as did FNL.
