This was a CLASSIC fight. I always felt if Mayweather fought Paul Williams in his prime, the fight might go something like this.

leonard hearns 1 was a great fight and yes hearns got robbed blind in the second fight...was no gotdamn draw
legendary nights overall was one of the best boxing related docs ever....bowe-golota was my favorite one....i got every episode....if only showtime would do something similar as they got alot of classic fights worth revisiting

He has wins over PRIME versions of Margarito, Lara, Martinez, Cintron, Wright, Philips, Mitchell. You have to remember, Mayweather chose not to face Williams when he was the #1 rated mandatory challenger. Once that happened, Williams moved up in order to get better fights. His issue was he was largely avoided in the 3 weight classes he was actively fighting in-147, 154, 160. I believe his height, offensive output, and reach would have been enough to beat Mayweather.
paul was elite as fukk..i dont know any 6'2" southpaw nikkas who fought at welter/light middle that overwhelmed fighters just off sheer activity and stamina alone...we've argued about this before..but this is not the thread for talking about this...get back to legendary nights
