How is Bill Walton in the Hall of Fame? :mindblown: He had a legit good 2-3 years in the league. Now he was a beast in college but I just happened to be looking at his stats and he pretty much the only good seasons he had were the year he won the championship with Portland, the year after, and the season he got 6th man with Boston. He does a double double for a career average but its a weak one (13 pts, 10 rebounds):upsetfavre:. He was plagued by foot injuries and only scored 6200 points. Why do people put this dude on a pedestal? :martin:

Because the basketball hall of fame takes into account college, international and the NBA.

He was one of the five most dominant college players ever. He won titleS in both the NCAA and NBA, as the lead player in fact. Skillwise he is one of the most unique players in history. He is a GOD in terms of broadcasting. Talent wise he is up there with anybody. Injuries cut his career short, CLEARLY, but unlike the Grant Hills and McGradys and whomever else who maybe played longer at a high level before their careers were derailed Walton won a title and an MVP as the guy before his issues. You can't just look at stats all of the time.

Like others have said, it's not the NBA HOF, it's t he basketball HOF, so it takes into account everything. He's one of the best college players ever.
