Yall notice how most dumb shyt we see posted here happens from Florida?

This phenomenon, called "FloridaMan" is at least partially the result of Florida's "Sunshine Laws", which open most (if not all) of Floridas public records. That makes it very easy to get details on police reports from Florida so lazy journalists use them extensively.

I agree. Other states have just as much if not more foolishness happening as Florida

I agree: Texas, California, and Ohio come to mind. But you can't deny that Florida produces a high-level of fukkery. I think the warm weather plays a part too. Criminologists tend to maintain that crime peaks during summer months, or as 50 said "In the hood, summer time is killing season/ It's hot out this bytch that's a good enough reason."

Since winter is so short-lived in most of Florida, it's more prone to crime.

So south America must have one of the highest crime rates

South America has areas with bad crime rates. Weather may play a part, but corrupt governments and rampant poverty probably plays a bigger role in the occurrence of crime there.

Also, don't forget that parts of South America are not that warm. The further away from the equator you go, towards the south pole, the climate will be cooler (e.g. Patagonia).

Not only that, but there are cities in South America with REALLY high elevations, so cold/chilly weather is the norm in some South American cities. LaPaz Bolivia for example, sits about 11,942 ft above sea level.

Good point.

Cusco can be downright chilly in April. And Lima has LA Weather (although I think that's due to its proximity to a desert nearby, if I'm not mistaken, not so much its elevation).

While South Florida has it's F'ery, Crime, and racism, I agree with you for the most part. The US in general has all three of those problems, but without the beaches, nightlife, and women.

Yup and honestly racism there isn't even that crazy, especially for the south

Culturally speaking, South Florida is more like the Northeast than the South. Now Northern Florida/ Panhandle.....
It makes me sad that I've lived in Florida my whole life but have only seen the beach a handful of times. Been to south Florida only twice
