If you think Lena Dunham was responsible for handing the election to Trump over one tweet you're a jackass plain and simple.
White guys have been riled up since Obama came into office so that's nothing new. They've been itching to "take their country back" since Obama first got into office.
Some people never estimate how scary white people truly are. If grown ass white men with guns are afraid of 11 yo black boys and unarmed black men, then imagine how fukking scary the average white woman is. I guarantee you, Hillary wanting to import Syrians and other muslims into America had more to do with it than Lena. You think they didn't see and hear what was happening to women in places like Germany? Although I'm certain it was a small amount based on the total of muslims that came in, you think they wanted to import men who would be raping them and their kids because Allah told them to terrorize unbelievers and spread sharia, or cultural differences?
Add in which party was aiming to take away firearms? The one thing that the average woman could defend herself with. Think they didn't read about handing out "I said no" bracelets like they gave women in Sweden (imr) instead of glocks?
What about allowing more illegal immigrants in to compete against Americans in the workplace? Does that hurt educated white women (doctors, lawyers and engineers) or blue collar white women with husbands who are also blue collar?
What about place like West Virginia. The poorest and whitest state in America. What's their cash cow? Coal. Who's waged a war and helped shut that down? Democrats. I remember seeing a brotha making good money around 20 pissed saying he's voting for Trump because he lost his mining job due to that shyt.
In short, the Democrats lost this (even though they won the popular). Why? Because Democrats went so far out there most moderate people couldn't stomach half their agenda. Oh, I forgot the transexual issue...who were supporting that? Republicans? Nah.
Democrats really need to recognize that plenty of their base isn't as far out there as they thought they were.
