Lending Friends/Family Money

So after making the decision to never lend anyone money ever again because of all the shennanigans people would do during high school, i finally relented and lent a close friend some money. He was a in bind and told me he would hit me up the last week of July

I learned my lesson a while back, lent someone 1,000 for half of first/last trusted them, in 2 years I only got back 250. Just said screw it and severed the friendship.

Now I don't lend anything to anyone, i'll give what I can expecting nothing in return ala can i borrow 500, i only have 50. And not expect that 50 back, but a substantial amount nope never again.

fukk 'em. Had a thread on here awhile back about it. Family doesn't have my number outside of my grandparents, sister, an un, a cousin and my mother (she's about to get the cold shoulder, too).

A whole family full of fukking leeches and they all live waaaaayyy above thier means. A few months ago at my damn graduation dinner, one of my uncles pulled me to the side and asked me for $1200. Punk nikka is married, 5 bedroom house (just him, his wife and 8 year old) and a 2 year old Lexus + a 2010 suburban


My grandpap been cut all of them off and advised me to tell them to , but my grandma is too giving with these bum fukks and ends up trying to guilt people into helping out, " Because that's family". Her soft ass is a reason why they keep getting my number

i wont lend substantial amounts of money that i cant survive to part from, if moms and pops ever need anything tho thats in a heartbeat cause they good people


different scenario is if we out and i know my buddies got me, maybe i'll cover someone's dinner and they'll get me back the next time. those cases are different because you know the other dude got it just not with them that second
