Les Miserables (2019) Misleading title

I thought this movie might be some sort of modern update to the book/musical but it isn't. It felt like a movie made by a training day super fan. It reminded me of training day, but it wasn't an obvious copy. Great acting by everyone in it.

It's because the movie talks about people who are "misérables" (or seen as such) and because a part of the book takes place in Monterfmeil, where the director grew up and where the movie takes place.
