I know this probably isn't practical but I don't believe male judges are capable of being impartial in these cases, due to what you say. If the perp is a man or in rare cases a dyke, they are looking at years in prison ,not just losing their jobs, but if it's a female ,especially a half attractive one she gets a slap on the wrist, .
I actually think female judges would be more fair if we as a society believe teachers fukking their students ,no matter how willing the student is ,is a crime . I mean either this is a serious crime or it isn't.... Just because some male judge watched 'the graduate' ,shouldn't mean one type of perp is able to get off.
You are right this has nothing to do with feminism, or indeed a male judge pitying a woman and being easier on her because look at this case , it's simply men thinking back to their school days and encounters with school nurses,the headmistress etc etc. In their eyes a man, a lesbian or a homo is a predator but a woman in these cases has just been very naughty.Again either it's a crime or it isn't.
