I think ps4 is my fav system of all time I spent like eight months researching between a switch because of breath of the wild and ps4 because of spiderman

Ps4 titles are great to play for an hour or two like watching a movie am terrible at multiplayer games and shooter arent my speed so xbox didnt seem for me

I do like games where you work together with people

Streets of rage 4 co-op>>


And psnow and ps plus which I've done only a few months on and off you get access to a lot of cool stuff

Also ps has a lot of deals and sales

These games are boring and over hyped to you? It's your opinion but I'm gonna have to assume you're not heavy into single player games. To me these were some of the most highly polished well done single player games I ever experienced. I almost can't even fathom how they kept the quality up on these first party titles so consistently.

Other exclusives that are niche but still great.

Driveclub (yes I actually loved this game after it was fixed)

I missed a ton of games that I enjoyed thoroughly too. I actually found this gen to be insane, but to each their own.

This gen wasn't that great

PS2 and 3 era was better.

Games like Until Dawn, Outlast, RDR2, RE2 Remake, RE7, FF7, GOW, Spiderman and Horizon saved this gen

Cinematic games
Loot boxes or "Suprise Mechanics"

Games being released half assed

Season pass was only done right by infinity ward

Bethesda copying minecraft and shyt and no elder scrolls

All these empty soulless open world games

Bethesda still has the best open world games with fallout 3 and skyrim.

Fighting games fell off a cliff and arcade racers are on life support

Nobody can be creative due to crazy budgets so everyone was playing it safe

This whole gen was a disappointment.

PS3/X360 was better

Only games I got mad hours in were Friday the 13th and Modern Warfare.
