So I attended a graduation yesterday afternoon for my cousin's son in Frisco (Dallas suburb)

Me and my fam were sitting on the 2nd row from the floor. This was in an arena, so everyone sitting behind us was gradually above/higher us. There were obviously lots of yt ppl there and pockets of Black (Asian, Indian) families together like mine spread thruout. As students names get called out, obviously their families are cheering for them and cheering for their kids' friends.

So graduation is over, we're walking back up the steps to the concourse and we hear this commotion and this black lady is yelling at this white family, "no, nope, uh-uh, absolutely not....we are NOT doing this at a graduation!! Nope!". And she walked off with her family.

Apparently this white family had accused the black lady and her family of only cheering for the Black students and being silent for the white students.

I'll let y'all run with the rest bc I was just :what:

Wth is wrong with people.

But I don't even think it was that. I just think they probably cheered for their kid and their kids friends.

Plus, there were 470 kids that graduated. They didn't keep track of every kid they cheered/didn't cheer for. Smh.

It was just some, I'm cheering for the kids I know

Those white folks sound mentally ill. They should have minded their own business

:yeshrug: She did the right thing and walked off. She should've hit the Kanye shrug and said sorry you feel that way before walking off but still did the right thing.
