This guy had no idea what the hell was going on. He didn't even know what youtube was but his whole town was talking about him on the internet. His fiance was involved in a murder suicide with her ex husband. That's when rumors started.

On top of all the slander from 6-7 posters it turns out...3 of them were the same old woman having conversations with herself. She owes dude almost half a mil for defamation is refusing to pay a penny. I'm not surprised but I don't think I've ever heard about anyone doing such a thing.

As far as internet trolling. If you really wanted a rumor to start, why wouldn't you create 3-4 profiles and make it happen? There are companies that hire people to troll for them and that's essentially the same thing. Abusing the anonymity of the web is almost the first thing one decides to do when they start surfing. Either you're going to get online and search for information or you can abuse the system and spread lies.
