I agree that Some of Drakes albums are better, but noT by much.

It was never like Drakes albums were these classics pieces of art that couldn't be touched.

He always had better albums by a hair in my opinion.

But When you Look at the fact that Cole produces and writes his best work and Drake emulates and copies his best work, then there's not much of a discussion to be had.

Cole is way better. Also, Cole is still improving. Drake peaked already.

I've enjoyed more tracks from Drake than J.Cole...and overall IYRTITL is better than any Cole album tbh. So yeah...Drake>J.Cole

I've listened to both artist since their beginning....J Cole is the better lyricist while Team Drake can make better albums...J Cole produces his own music so....I'll give the edge to J Cole....

I dont think he's average at either. He's very good at both. Versatility is life's greatest talent.

By that way of thinking. Drake is a mediocre singer, and a good (not great) rapper. Who doesn't produce music either.

Like I said, Drakes output isn't anything to rave about. It's not like his music is Kendricks quality or Kanye's quality.

His albums range from ehh to really good.

I don't think Cole has an album as bad as Views and neither of them have certified classics.

Difference is, Cole's last album was arguably his best and one would assume he'll keep that pattern up because he gets better with each project, Drake has been declining with each project, and took a huge step back on Views

If you wanna compare his entire setup vs Cole (his writers, 40 and him) then okay.

But you can't compare just Drake verses Cole, because Drake doesn't do enough. And head to head its not really close.
