Despite all the fakers that have tried to take the crown, Pandora does a fantastic job picking solid songs and providing recommendations for new artists its not even funny. Literally plugging the name of your favorite artists can generate a fantastic series of songs that have a similar vein than the artist you initially submitted. Real talk no one person or machine does it better.

you actually need to rate the songs as they play to get it to really master your tastes breh. The initial name input is only the begining. Whenever you give a song a thumbs up it generates an entirely new rotation within the song. Whenever you thumbs down a song it not only removes that specific song, it removes all songs that sound like it. A well pruned playlist can litreally result in an amazing stretch of 1-2 hours of amazing song. Ive really done well with:

2FaceIbidia radio - lots of west african hip hop, old school soul hip hop, and some old school hiphop/rnb (i.e. the Fugees)

Hall and Oates: Amazing 80's station

My tupac radio, devin the dude radio, Bob Marley Radio, and Tarrus Riley radio are all amazing as well. The streams that come out of these stations are consistenly better than the nonsense on any other medium right now. Have a nikka like:

Nah trust me i know. I can tell you off top what songs will come on each station. I get geeked whenever something new pops up..i'll thumbs up it or whatever, but it rarely m akes a difference

The homie just dl'd da shyt on my comp over the weekend cause I just got a new laptop and I aint have no songs on my itunes to use to dj this party. Dude got the full service and it was . It saved me. Just looked for whatever song I wanted and put it in my party playlist, could queue songs with ease and the party was . Whats even crazier was that dude had two iphones and we had spotify on both, we were gonna have one hooked to the speakers and we could walk around and change the song with the other, shyt woulda been but one of the iphones battery was dead by the time we started so we would have had to pause the music and replug the auxillary from the mac to the iphone, shyt would have fukked the party up
