Let's be real brehs, if every player were eligible for the NBA draft, Anthony Davis would go 3rd

in no particular order: aldridge, griffin, bosh, howard, duncan

I'm going to agree to disagree with you breh:manny:

DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis are both better than Dwight Howard and Tim Duncan.

If AD keeps up his averages the rest of the year he'll be the first player since Shaq 14 years ago to average 20 ppg,10 boards and 3 blocks per game a whole season.

I can believe it. This kid is going to be an MVP caliber player in a couple of years.

The return of dominant big men :blessed:

to me I can't give someone credit if they've never done it in the playoffs

to me regular season dominance means NOTHING unless you can prove you can do it in the playoffs

Cousins and Davis are talented but until I see them do it the playoffs or in games that actually matters I'm not gonna disrespect guys who have already proven themselves in the playoffs like Duncan and Howard. As much as I think Howard is overrated, he has led his team to the playoffs almost every year and has led a team to the finals. He's not the best big in the league but he is top 5. His defense and rebounding alone validate that.

Boogie's defense is inconsistent. Also gets lost on pock and rolls while Howard, Davis and even Duncan to a point are better there.

Duncan hasn't been as consistent this year offensively but he's had very good games vs. the youngings this season

Yeah...i don't think that's a controversial sentiment at all...it's his 2nd year in the league, his mix of youth and present day value is pretty much near the the top of the league (stats wise he's a top 5ish type player RIGHT NOW at the age of 20)...he projects to be special for a long time

I think he's a perfect #2, not a #1, so I wouldn't take him at 3 if we were doing a player draft. His offense can't carry a team and I think a true #1 needs to be able to do that.
