nah future never instilled the culture with a sense of wonder, thought and creativity to explore the recesses of your mind and think freely on various subjects facing the urban community… and he definitely never had a B.O.B. Now without big boi… yes Andre 3000 is essentially mixtape status. but you can’t take that away from him.
Ya'll stay trying to force Future into conversations where he doesn't belong. I don't even mean this as a diss, but Future is more comparable to a Missy Elliott than an Outkast, Nas, Jay Z, or even a Wayne.
Like Missy, he's an all around artist. He raps, but also does this melodic rap or attempts at singing. Nobody would put Missy in a GOAT rapper conversation because bars are not where she shines. It is flows and inventing flows and melody where she shines as a rapper. As an artist, like Missy, Future has written for other artists mainly R&B. Like Missy Future's catalog could probably give a lot of rappers a run, but again that alone isn't putting him in GOAT conversations.
