the ether
Outside of the Suns game where literally no one played defense the entire game, his scoring numbers are:

3 points on 1-6 shooting
8 points on 3-13 shooting
6 points on 2-11 shooting
5 points on 2-7 shooting

His passing is strong but not special (good vision for his age but I'm not calling him a prodigy yet) and the rebounding is a ridiculous narrative because he's doing virtually nothing to get them.

Comparing this shyt to Linsanity makes no sense. He has hype because of his dad. I'm all a fan of letting him play and giving him time, but the fact that he is getting hype for his play NOW is ridiculous.

I said several times that shot is gonna be difficult to get off in the nba the way he shoots its to predictable from a defensive standpoint to early to judge him overall though. Some have called him a bust because of the lavar hype but lavar been stopped bothering me since he is an obvious troll.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
There was a story run before he was drafted that his shooting numbers were inflated because of the type of ball UCLA used which had more grip and he wasn't as good of a shooter with NBA style spalding balls. Seems like it was true, he's been struggling with his jumper and the fact he cannot shoot going to his right yet really hurts his game. He's young and with the time and work he should become a better shooter, but that ugly ass form is hurting him like people thought, if you can only shoot going one direction NBA defenses will just force you that way until you can do it.

"Ball might've experienced that adjustment this season: He's played 26 games with a Wilson ball (17 games at home, six games at a neutral site, and three on the road). In those matches, he shot 43.6 percent on 133 3-point attempts. In seven games playing with a Nike ball (all road games), he shot only 34.1 percent on 44 attempts.

Nike ball was more in line with the Spalding the NBA uses, the Wilson ball has more grip.
