The biggest issue is how Trump won.

He said alot shyt to an about minorities, never apologized for any of it. He ran a racist campaign plain and simple. You can't expect civilize discussion after all that the campaign represented

Trump picking Bannon was a really bad look for that. I think, and still do a little bit, that it would have been business as usual unless Trump made some outright discriminatory policies..but his statements on Stop and Frisk and cosigning of Bannon has made it hard for him to heal wounds. It'll take years of good policy rather than months of good rhetoric like it may have taken for that to happen, and it may not happen at all. It's unfortunate but I remain hopeful that things will come together.
