his rapping sends me to sleep, no personality. it isnt very good technically either. i dont get it, no way is he one of the best from the 90s . . i guess that career move he made just solidified him into the rap consciousness.

The same can be said about a lot of the pseudo-technical rappers from the 90s and 00s with too much verbiage, excessive use of multis, druglord stories/fantasies, gangster chronicles, lack of content (Eminem), etc.
If you love music for content, passion, and the ability of an artist to show his vulnerability by expressing it in his music - there's absolutely no way you won't like Pac. However, if you're about the shallow technical show-off, lack of content/passion, and fantasies - Pac isn't the one for you.
Personally, I like when artists show passion and their vulnerability in their music, hence I'm a big fan of Pac. Content is the most important thing for me. Conversely, I've never been a fan of Jay Z, Eminem, and a lot of these technical rappers - apart from Nas (Nas and Pac are my 1a and 1b GOAT) - due to lack of content and fallacy.
