Interesting fact about Adam Jones who made the ASG: He only played baseball because in high school, he got cut from the basketball team and his mom wouldn't let him play football. He went up to the baseball coach and said he wanted to play, he didn't even have a glove! But his athletic ability let him thrive even though he had never played before. If more of us gave baseball a chance we would dominate it like every other sport that we play in large numbers.
