i know, that's what i was tellin' my brother in law the other day when we talkin' bout eazy e and suge
suge and eazy e were a lot alike in some ways with their shyt but eazy is the father of that shyt
but you can tell how close suge studied what eazy did and just built off of that

i think when you look at the real significance of rutheless records and the real ground breakin' impact they had specially with n.w.a., they were better in the bigger picture

Dre was using a lot of breakbeats back then though. The drum programming kicked off with The Chronic, and they had mastered live instrumentation by Dogg Food. Even Daz had classic work that he put in. You had Rage, Kurupt and Snoop. And they used to mock him, but RBX was dope as hell on The Chronic. LOL!! He was different, but it just worked.

yeah, a lot of breakbeats on straight outta compton but man, even that album still sounds so clean with it's mixin'
the drum programmin' might've kicked off with the chronic but 1 could argue that dre might've been at his peak with nikkaz4life
he zoned the fukk out with the production on that album and his/their sample choices were incredible from the dirty harry score to great artists like the last poets
all those artists you named were great on the chronic and dogg food but honestly, n.w.a.'s side act with the d.o.c. alone >>>>>> those guys
