They always shut them down with the quickness. I think 2K11 lasted the longest. That particular server wasn't taken down until summer of 2013.

i can still play street fighter 4 og version online ... just doesn't make sense that they would discontinue the servers. its way too quick.

No matter what, nikkas rarely shoot under 40% from 3 no matter how garbage they are contested or not. Its fukked up cause if you really work for a open jumper (especially off a pick and pop) you will brick the shyt out them bytches.

I play on the 4 often and have no problem with threes. Shooting them or defending them.

Most people don't know that if you weren't really there to block the shot and you attempt one anyway the chances of it going in is even higher.

fukking ridiculous. Just tried to play online and was propped with an update, so im thinking "hell yeah, they bout to fix some gameplay shyt finally". I go to check for patch notes, and there is no gameplay changes at all listed . WTF is wrong with this company. These nikkas prioritized patching a shoe issue (IDK wtf it is that was the shoe problem) but did not fix anything that the actual game is based on (gameplay). Man fukk these nikkas.

Edit: My update is taking forever to download, so if any of yall got it already post in this thread if you notice any gameplay changes. nikkas on OS are saying it feels a bit different.

i'm a casual player(online record is something like 7-30) but damn the online gaming is a fukking joke....its like every year the spend one week on it....they should take note from fifa

sounds like some of y'all just have terrible connection or just flatout suck.

my record online is 170-64 and while it does have disconnections once in awhile it wasn't nowhere near as bad as when we had the coli ps3 league on 2k13, nikkas couldn't even finish past the second season without some glitchy stuff happening but this 2k seems much more improved in that area.

the defense is much better besides the steal spamming because its so easy to get steals on there.

I only use the wiz and Sacramento and I'll get the spurs or clippers for people who like to use the heat, learn how to play man and quit playing zone if nikkas wanna shoot threes all game that normally doesn't work on me.

cpu cheese should make u the angriest. especially since online is unplayable and you are forced to play the CPU in a lot of the modes.

mygm is cool except for the fact that so many things are tied to VC. however, I actually hate the my player on the next gen. and this is coming from someone who plays over 300+ games of my player on nba 2k11, 2k12 and 2k13.

NBA 2K14 patch #5 is available now for the PS4. It should arrive for Xbox One users within 48 hours. Check out the patch notes below.

General

• Voice Chat should now be much more reliable when three or more people on a team are voice-enabled.
• Fixed an issue where users would not see server-based content (thumbnails in the store, NBA Today video, clothes in The Park) when signing into a first party account after having already booted the game.
• Fixed an in issue in MyCAREER where an in-game save (specifically, in the game before you were set to receive your own signature shoe) would freeze when attempting to later load the file.
• In MyCAREER, the On-Court Coach signature skill will now properly allow you to call plays when equipped.
• In MyGM, fixed an issue where no players would appear (in specific circumstances) in the list when attempting to propose a trade.
• Fixed in issue in Online Leagues that prevented some users from being able to matchmake against select other users. Online Leagues in general should be much more stable now.
• Duplicate players (the same player from different years) are no longer allowed in the same lineup for a MyTEAM game, as was originally intended.
• The default quarter length in MyCAREER has been reset to 6 minute quarters, as originally intended. Users are welcome to re-adjust as necessary.

The Park

• Addressed an issue where specific player types were unable to complete alley-oops.
• Users will no longer experience a freeze when loading into The Park after previously playing a different MyCAREER file that was terminated by quitting out of the Rookie Showcase.
• Fixed an issue where players would sometimes stop moving or even skip/glitch around the court when spectating a game.
• Fixed an issue where a game would sometimes disconnect when another player quit the match.
• Players will no longer get stuck after lining up to start a game if another user drops/quits right as the game is about to start.
• Addressed a very rare crash that would occur when users would spam their controllers while waiting on a ‘Got Next’ spot.
• Fixed an issue where a user playing on controller two will not up in The Park on other user’s screens.
• A number of other smaller Park changes have been made to increase the stability and overall performance of this feature.

NOTE: All patch fixes will work in your existing game mode saves.
