you ain't beating the CPU on next gen 2K HOF. the rubberband AI really kicks in in the 4th if you have a lead and you will take a double digit loss when it's all said and done. I gave up on HOF mode this season.
I've won a couple of exhibition games against them but I haven't played the Association this year. Wasn't as tough as I thought it would be but the computer is always that much better when you play Association.

Took this way back when I realized my opponent just chucked with Swaggy P the whole time. Hate the fact that you can just spam 3s & still compete. And you're bound to get some open ones due to the physics of the game. It's annoying as hell

Haven't played in a few months so i dont know if they patched this but when you got a man open and you want to lead him with a pass to the rim the guy stands in place. Or when you got a fast break, 3 on 2 situation sometimes the player on the wing doesnt cut all to the rim ge just stays 3in point extended. And the size up should've stayed on the trigger button

Think alley-oop has had a different button combination for 3 years and counting now. And the new thing (at least on PS4/X1 anyway) is that the steal button doubles as INTENTIONAL FOUL of all things. I guess it's to stop people from spamming the steal but come on. They also re-did the stick so that it dribbles and shoots now (something I've adjusted to, but I was pissed about it the first month or so lol)
