He is on pace to have the highest effective field goal percentage EVER for anyone who has averaged at least 15 field goal attempts a game in a single season.

Now I understand that the guy is freaking huge and incredibly athletic but still to be that efficient is incredible. He has played a lot of PF this season and I think Spoelstra finally deciding to play him at the 4 is what's going to allow Miami to win several in a row. Gotta give LeBron a lot of credit on improving his post game as well. I remember as a youngin' as physically large as he was, that part of his skill set was practically non-existent. Also even with the relatively high percentage shots he is able to "get" for himself, even finishing around the bucket at that rate is still amazing. AND he is shooting 41%+ from 3.

It's crazy that KD is having a 50-40-90 season with around 30 a game as well this year.

aight im down to talk about it

:heh: well i gave my opinion. Do you find the fact that he is shooting so effeciently amazing or par the course? I mean considering how naturally talented he is and everything. Do you think he has improved very much this year or this is mostly due to him spending less time in the perimeter?
How would you rate this year in all time individual performances? Does anyone else have a serious shot for MVP?

i think this is what he should be doing and its because hes mostly shooting rhythm jumpers or open jumpers while finally getting his basketball touch to offset being so strong and fast. it finally coming together but i think he should be getting wilt or atleast shaq like numbers out there. hes like a jason kidd in a dwight howard body. i expect once he brings his game full circle he should average somewhere around to 32-11-11 or 35-13-9. anything short of that would mean he didnt reach his full potential

He's playing about as well as anyone has ever played in modern history. I would say he's playing in a stratosphere that only Shaq and Jordan played in, in recent times.

Two big developments in his game: His intelligence as a player is peaking at a time when he is in his physical prime in terms of brute strength and all-world conditioning. So shot selection is just elite. He very rarely takes bad shots. the only exception is when he reverts to a bad habit of taking questionable 3-pointers, but he's limited that more than ever the last few years. When he is set, he's become a really good shooter.

Any better shot selection from him and he would have to be a robot. As great as he is, he could get away with some bad shots in Cleveland, but he's eliminated them at this point.

Secondly, the post game is there. It's just there. With his back to the basket, it's curtains now. Double team or die. And if you double, die from three's because the assists are coming.

Kind of a stretch to expect the raw scoring numbers in the 30's since he plays with two other All-Stars right now. Wade and Bosh eat up 25-30 attempts and 40 plus points a night.

well i meant i expect him to get that whenever wade leaves. or he leaves wade. i dont expect them to finish thier careers together for some reason. the 32-11-11 is very much attainable with this heat team the way it is now tho.

I don't see it. I mean 11 assists from the 4? or 11 rebounds from the perimeter?
I dont think that's possibile in today's nba no matter how good you are.

he won't average double digit assist because the offense is built around him and wade attacking the paint and kicking out to open shooters. If the Heat had a big that was good at the pick and roll and finishing at the rim, then he'd have a shot...maybe. still would be difficult considering Wade handles the ball also

I never even been to miami but i HAVE to watch all their games now because of the streak he is on especially in February...hes just one of those guys now like Jordan where u just have to watch and witness the history being made, regardless of being a fan of the team...its great. i think he will go down as the greatest ever, its a shame that it scares ppl so much to admit that..
