I'm not saying it's cool to shame fat people, insults hurt period. But normalizing obesity is some bullshyt. We should not be encouraging poor health. Look, if my family and friends can sit me down for an intervention for drugs or alcohol, I should be able to call out their weights at a minimum. It just so happens their weight is a physical manifestation of their poor lifestyle choices.
I say this cause I've been straight up shaming this girl I talk with. It was my last resort. Anytime she go for seconds I sigh, shake my head, and laugh a little bit. The other day she was complaining about not being able to get into some jeans and I said "well what did you expect." Anytime she asks what should we eat I say "something healthy". This girl.has put on a solid 30lbs of fat since the spring if I had to guess and she was never flat-out skinny to begin with. I told her straight up, if she gain 10 more pounds, I'm out and that's my final reservation point. She broke down crying and started blaming everyone but herself. Then some hours later her "friend" made a Facebook post saying if you're around someone who fat shames, leave now. Now I got her brother calling me, threatening me and shyt. I'm out now for real. Fukk that shyt.
All this cause this bytch lacks the discipline and the respect for me to not stuff her face to oblivion. Not on my watch.
